  • Fully comprehensive insurance for all referenced drivers. Should the driver have more than 6 points on their licence we will need to refer to our insurer for approval.

Optional Extras

Bath Sheets & Hand Towels:  £10 bundle of 1 x bath sheets and 1 x hand towels.

 Beach Towels:  £5 for 1 beach towel.

All Bedding and Towels:  A one off payment of £58 provides all the beds in the motorhome made up with duvets, pillows, 100% cotton top quality bed linen together with towels for each person (1 x bath sheet and 1 x hand towel per person).

Beach Towels:  £5 for 1 beach towel.  Just let us know how many you would like.

Petrol Generator (Briggs & Stratton 2400W):  Helpful when no access to electricity. £12 per day + initial £10 charge to cover petrol and oil provided. 

Booking Deposit (non-refundable)

  • A 25% non-refundable booking deposit to be paid at the time of booking, unless the collection date is within 6 weeks, in which case the full balance will be due at the time of booking.  


Security Deposit (refundable)

  • £1,000.00 paid upon collection of the motorhome.  
  • An additional deposit of £250 will be added for pets, if attending a festival or travelling to Europe.
  • Occasionally, if a customer has several penalties on their driving licence our insurance company may request an additional deposit.
  • Security deposits will be refunded when the vehicle has been returned and is deemed to be in the same condition as it was when hired. 
  • Please allow up to 5 working days for the security deposit to appear in your bank once the vehicle has been checked and agreed.  


Cancellations

  • If we can re-book your cancelled holiday slot with another customer, then we will refund your booking deposit less £30 processing fee.


Penalties

  • Late Return – we will agree a 2 hour return time slot with you.  Should you return later than this time, we will have to charge £50 per hour as late returns impact on other bookings.
  • Fuel Shortage – All vehicles should be returned with a full tank of diesel.  If there is less in the tank you will be charged the cost of the diesel to fill it up plus a £25.00 charge to cover our costs.
  • Cleaning Charge – cleaning of the vehicle and bedding upon return is included in the hire cost, however additional charges for the following may apply:
    • Up to £250.00 if there are marks or excessive pet hair on the upholstery, mattresses or carpets leading to them needing professionally cleaning. Each van is provided with 3 clean pet throws and we ask that you use these.
    • £50.00 if the toilet has not been emptied.
    • All Tip Top Motorhomes are non-smoking vehicles which includes the use of vapes & e-cigarette. Tip Top Motorhomes reserves the right to impose additional valeting and or upholstery cleaning fees and charge demurrage should smoke be detected in the motorhome.
